Lucy…..A Great Passenger!!!

Lucy is a six year old of unknown breed.  Submitted by Madison Karr of Albany, Ga.  In Madison’s words…….”The day before Christmas Eve 2006 my grandmother took me to a flea market to try and find a puppy. We walked around for hours, not one puppy to be found. As we were going back to the car to leave, two young boys yelled across the parking lot asking if we wanted a puppy. I RAN over and scooped her up. I named her Lucy, from the Chronicles of Narnia. She is and has been my best friend and by my side for the last 6 years when no one else was. Lucy is my 45lb. furbaby child.  I want to get a DNA done to find out what breed(s) she is. She is the smartest dog I’ve ever seen! Last year I stamped her paw and got it tattooed on my foot.” :)    Thanks Madison!!!

“I would like to thank everyone for sending their loving wishes for Mattie. He still remains in the hospital and his doctors are doing everything they can for him. It is so comforting to come to this site and see how many people genuinely care about him. Just reading your comforting words today has help me get through a very trying day. Once again, thanks to everyone, love Mattie, Molly, Renate Efford (Mommy), Barry (Daddy), Lesleigh (sister), Joy (sister) and Dylan (brother). Please feel free to request a friendship on my homepage and I will keep you updated on Mattie’s progress. THANK YOU – WE ARE PET NATION!”
